How to Achieve Social Justice: Worker Cooperatives, the Solidarity Economy, and Economic Democracy

Both corporate capitalism and traditional politics have failed to abate the ever-growing economic and political inequality between poor and working people and the very wealthy. The only path towards lasting economic justice and political access for all is to empower workers to direct businesses and own capital themselves. This is an audio of a talk given on April 22, 2015 to the Workers Rights Student Coalition at Columbia Law School.
